We're seeking a professional, well-organised Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming first point of contact for our patients across both sites.
This is a permanent part-time position — 0.4 FTE, working Tuesdays and Fridays (approximately 15 hours per week), with an immediate start available.Key responsibilitiesGreet patients and visitors and provide a warm, professional first impressionAnswer and manage incoming calls, emails and enquiriesBook, confirm, reschedule and manage appointmentsPrepare, open and close consulting roomsAccurate data entry and maintenance of patient recordsManage incoming referrals and clinical correspondenceScan, file and distribute documents; type and format letters as requiredProcess billing, receipting and paymentsPrepare Medicare, DVA and private health fund claimsLiaise with hospitals, specialists, GPs and allied health providersMaintain stock and order office and clinical suppliesMaintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all timesAbout youExcellent verbal and written communicationProfessional,
