About the Role
This unique role combines Theatre Orderly responsibilities with Stores and Inventory Coordination duties.
You will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our theatre workplace by assisting with patient movement, theatre preparation, stock management and logistics.
No two days are the same.
You'll be involved in both frontline operational support and behind-the-scenes coordination that helps keep our surgical services running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Theatre Support




Prepare operating theatres for daily surgical listsAssist with patient transfers and positioningTransport patients between theatre and recoverySupport theatre teams throughout operating listsClean and prepare beds, theatre areas and equipmentReplenish consumables and clinical suppliesAssist with medical gas cylinder replacementSupport theatre flow across multiple operating theatresConduct stock checks and inventory monitoringPlace orders and manage purchasing administrationReceive, unpack and distribute suppliesMonitor backorders and supplier deliveriesMaintain organised storerooms and stock control systemsSupport purchasing and invoice administration processesEnsure clinical areas remain fully stocked and operational
About You
We're looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable and enjoys working as part of a team.Strong organisational and time management skillsGood computer literacy and confidence using systems and technologyAbility to manage competing priorities in a busy environmentAbility to work independently and take initiativeComfortable undertaking physically active work and manual handling tasksTheatre Orderly or Hospital Orderly experienceAssistant in Nursing (AIN) experienceStores, inventory or logistics experienceHealthcare, hospital or day surgery experienceExperience using purchasing or procurement systemsKnowledge of medical terminology
