Ngak Min Health forms part of Cape York Partnership, a non-profit Indigenous organisation that has worked in partnership with the First Nations people of Cape York for more than 30 years.

Your work will include:

n

n
providing confidential health consultations, health information, advice, brief interventions and referrals;
n
supporting illness and injury prevention and positive health outcomes for young people;
n
working collaboratively with young people, families, schools, health specialists and other services;
n
contributing to health promotion programs and initiatives;
n
supporting quality improvement, data collection and evaluation activities; and
n
contributing to Ngak Min Health's accreditation, clinical governance and continuous improvement requirements.

We are looking for an RN who combines solid clinical capability with an approachable, respectful and culturally responsive way of working.

n

You will need:

n

n
current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions and a current practising certificate;
n
qualification as an Independent Authorised Nurse Immuniser;
n
phlebotomy and cannulation experience;
n
an unrestricted Open C Driver Licence; and
n
evidence of required Vaccine Preventable Disease immunisations/immunity.
