About State Sport Centres:The Victorian State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) operates and maintains over $1 billion assets including four of Australia's largest multi-sport venues, the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), the State Netball and Hockey Centre (SNHC), Lakeside Stadium incorporating the State Athletics Centre, and Knox Regional Sports Park including the State Basketball Centre (SBC).
Unlike other major international standard venues that host sport and entertainment events, SSCT venues also provide access for users at all levels, from elite and professional athletes to school and community participants 7 days per week, up to 16 hours a day.Through the provision of access for all, SSCT makes a unique and significant contribution to Victoria's sport sector.Four Workplace Values underpin the work we do: Teamwork, Safety, Excellence & Respect.About the role:In this full-time 12-month parental leave cover role, you'll play a key role in Coordinating bookings for major sports partners and repeat clients across our world-class State Sport Centre venues.Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, you'll be the go-to person for coordinating events & booking requirements, client support, and administrative excellence.Are you passionate about sports, events, and delivering top-tier customer service?

What You'll Be Doing:Support Events & Bookings Account managers – Manage venue availability, coordinate bookings, and create event prep documents for Internal and External stakeholdersEnsure Seamless Execution – Develop checklists,



confirm bookings, and assist in events and bookings operational requirementsEngage with Key Stakeholders – Communicate with clients, suppliers, contractors, and sports organisationsProvide Administrative & Financial Support – Generate invoices, oversee payments, and maintain recordsAssist with Major Functions and Conferences – Support award nights, gala events, and other high-profile occasionsWhat We're Looking For:Strong organisational and administrative skillsExcellent customer service with a keen attention to detailAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentRequired skills and Qualifications:Victorian Working with Children's checkFull Australian Working RightsExperience in event coordination, bookings, or venue management is a plusShortlisted candidates may be subject to pre-employment screenings, including criminal record, social media, and adverse media checks.Why is this a great place to work?
