EOFY & ChristmasSocial Club gatherings & Footy tipping/Melbourne Cup Sweep for funRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Managing accounting transactions of our external bookkeeping clientsProcessing payroll including STP & superannuation complianceBasic HR administrative tasksReconciliation, preparation & lodgement of BAS & IASMeeting technical standards & deadlinesLiaising with Accountants for annual accounts & tax queriesBuilding & maintaining client relationships over timeManaging the accounts receivable/accounts payable function for clientsDemonstrated self-checking skillsREQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:3+ years' solid bookkeeping experience (public practice background desirable, not essential)Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Diploma in AccountingMust be proficient in Xero & MYOB (Xero certification highly regarded)Excellent attention to detailStrong communication & interpersonal skillsFlexible & adaptable approachA desire to learn & work collaboratively as an enthusiastic team playerStrong technical & organisational skillsREMUNERATION:Salary negotiable depending on experience/qualificationApplicants must submit to a Police check & be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and reside in Melbourne
