This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability, consistent hours and the opportunity to develop their skills within a manufacturing environment.The RoleWorking as part of a close-knit factory team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing machinery and ensuring products are produced to a high standard.Key responsibilities include:Set up, operate and break down machinery in accordance with proceduresOperate multiple machines across the production processManufacture and produce cable products efficiently and accuratelyPack finished products in preparation for quality assurance testingComplete regular quality checks and maintain a strong eye for detailFollow all OH&S; and workplace safety proceduresMaintain a clean and organised production areaWork collaboratively as part of a manufacturing teamLearn current machinery and processes with training provided4-Day Rotating RosterThis role operates on a 38-hour, 4-day working week, with Fridays off every week.The roster rotates between day and afternoon/night shifts on a weekly basis.Day Shift:Monday - Wednesday: 6:00am - 4:00pmThursday: 6:00am - 2:00pmAfternoon/Night Shift:Monday - Wednesday: 4:00pm - 2:00amThursday: 4:00pm - 12:00amMeal breaks are additional to the above hours.About YouTo be successful in this position, you will ideally have:Previous Machine Operator experience within a manufacturing environmentA mechanically minded approach and willingness to learnA strong "can-do" attitudeAbility to operate multiple machinesExcellent attention to detailGood understanding of OH&S; and workplace safetyAbility to consistently handle 20kg+Forklift licence - ESSENTIALCurrent driver's licence and reliable transportAbility to work rotating day and afternoon/night shiftsExperience in cable manufacturing will be highly regarded
