We are looking for someone who is organised, takes pride in their work and can work efficiently as part of a team.Key responsibilitiesPick and pack customer orders accurately and efficientlyReceive incoming deliveries and check goods against paperworkCheck stock for correct use-by and best-before datesRotate stock correctly to maintain effective FIFO stock controlAssist with stocktakes and general inventory controlPut stock away in the correct warehouse locationsMaintain a clean,



organised and safe warehouseAssist with loading and unloading trucksOperate a forklift safelyWork within chilled and freezer areas as requiredReport damaged, short-dated or incorrect stockAssist with general warehouse duties as requiredAbout youThe ability and availability to start work early in the morning in ParkinsonThe ability to work in a freezer environment and chilled warehouse areaA current MR truck licence would be highly regarded, as the successful applicant may occasionally be required to act as a backup delivery driver when neededGood organisational and time-management skillsThe ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced warehouse environmentA reliable and punctual work ethicThe ability to undertake the physical requirements of a warehouse role, including lifting and moving stock
