The opportunity:We are looking for a weekend Pharmacy Technician to join our supportive and collaborative Slade Pharmacy team, located onsite in the Epworth Eastern Hospital Box Hill.
Working each Saturday and Sunday, you'll make a positive difference to the lives of people in the local community, delivering exceptional pharmacy services for our client hospitals and their patients.
And you'll do it with an innovative, multidisciplinary team of connected, caring people.Gain the chance to further diversify your career in pharmacy and be exposed to a variety of multidisciplinary services including hospital and compounding.This is a permanent part-time position, working each Saturday and Sunday, with typical start and finish times varying between 8:00am-3:00pm on Saturdays, and 8:00am-1:00pm on Sunday.
Please note, actual rostered hours may differ slightly.In this role, you'll:Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatientsAssist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stockReconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profilesProvide support to patients, carers and hospital staffProcess PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on dischargeConfidently complete administrative and record keeping dutiesAssist with patient account enquiriesWho are we looking for?
