We are particularly interested in candidates who are available to workmorning shifts from 7:00am onwards.If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining high standards and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.About the OpportunityReporting to the Chief Steward, you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchens by maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work environment.Working across our main production kitchen, restaurant outlets and conference and event spaces, your responsibilities will include:Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environmentCleaning dishes, cookware, crockery, utensils and kitchen equipmentOperating commercial dishwashing equipmentAssisting with food preparation and ingredient assembly as requiredSupporting kitchen and scullery operationsSafely handling and storing cleaning chemicalsAssisting with waste disposal and movement of catering equipmentCompleting scheduled deep cleaning tasksFollowing food safety, hygiene and workplace safety proceduresSupporting chefs and fellow team members where requiredWhat You'll Need to Be SuccessfulPrevious kitchen attendant, stewarding, cleaning or hospitality experience will be highly regardedA positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learnThe ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow instructionsGood communication skills,
