Slide Easy is a rapidly growing mobile repair business specialising in sliding doors, security doors, windows and associated hardware.We service customers across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, and we're looking for a motivated person to join our team as a Trade Assistant, with the opportunity to develop into a fully trained Door & Window Technician.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGAssist our technicians with onsite repairs and installationsLearn how to repair and service sliding doors and windowsLearn to use hand and power toolsHelp with measuring, cutting and fitting materialsLoad and maintain tools, equipment and van stockKeep the work vehicle and equipment organisedCommunicate professionally with customersWork at residential and commercial propertiesGradually take on more responsibility as your skills developEventually operate your own fully equipped Slide Easy mobile vanWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORYou don't necessarily need previous experience in this exact trade.We're looking for someone who is:Reliable and punctualPractical and mechanically mindedComfortable using basic hand and power tools - or keen to learnPhysically capable of performing hands-on workWell presented and professional with customersA good communicatorAble to work independently once trainedSomeone who takes pride in doing a quality jobKeen to learn a specialised trade and build a careerPrevious experience in carpentry, glazing, aluminium, building, construction, maintenance, handyman work, fencing,
