Labourer / Forklift Operator - Timber Mill | FyshwickProgrammed Skilled Workforce are looking for reliable, hardworking Labourers with a forklift licence to join a busy timber mill in Fyshwick.If you're someone who likes keeping busy, doesn't mind getting your hands dirty and enjoys seeing a solid day's work behind you, this could be the role for you!
This is an ongoing casual opportunity offering full-time hours (38 per week), with the potential for long-term work and permanency for the right person.About the RoleYou'll be part of a fast-paced timber production team, helping manufacture timber battens and keeping the yard and production areas running smoothly.No two days are exactly the same, and there's plenty to keep you moving!
What You'll Be DoingOperating a forklift to safely move timber products around siteAssisting with production line dutiesStacking, sorting and strapping timberManual handling and repetitive liftingKeeping the work area clean, tidy and safeSupporting the yard and dispatch teams when neededWorking as part of a team to keep production movingWhat We're Looking ForTo be successful, you'll have:Current Forklift Licence - essentialTimber mill or manufacturing experience is highly regarded, but not essentialExperience in a hands-on, physical role is an advantageA strong commitment to workplace health and safetyThe fitness and ability to work in a physically demanding roleReliable transport and a outstanding work ethicA positive,
