This is a permanent part time position working 2 days per week (Monday and Tuesday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm) at a busy specialist urology practice located at Sunnybank Specialist Centre.
The successful applicant must also have some flexibility to provide additional coverage during periods of annual leave or staff absence.Key responsibilitiesMeeting and greeting patients in a friendly and professional mannerAnswering telephone calls and managing patient enquiriesBooking and managing patient appointmentsProcessing patient payments and transmitting Medicare claimsScanning and uploading correspondence and clinical documentsManaging incoming emails and correspondenceMaintaining accurate and confidential patient recordsMaintaining a clean,



organised and professional reception and consulting suite environmentProviding administrative support to the Urologist and practice team as requiredAbout youPrevious medical reception or medical secretarial experienceExceptional attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organisational and time-management skillsConfident working independently and managing competing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional, reliable and comfortable communicating with patients, specialists, hospitals and other healthcare providersStrong and confident computer skillsProficient with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 and Adobe AcrobatUnderstanding of the importance of patient confidentiality and privacy within a specialist medical practiceFlexible and willing to provide additional leave coverage when requiredBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
