About us n
Prince Fabrications is a structural steel and stainless pipework fabrication business based at Wetherill Park. We run a 5-axis 6kW fibre tube laser alongside a full fabrication workshop, serving clients across construction, mining, and industrial equipment. We hold CC2 (AS/NZS ****) and ISO ****** certification.
The role n
We're looking for a tube laser
operator/programmer
to take ownership of our tube laser cell. Day to day you'll be:

n
Programming and nesting parts from customer drawings and NC/STP files
n
Setting up and running the machine across RHS, SHS, pipe, angle, channel and beam sections
n
Loading, unloading and QA checking parts against drawings
n
Completing dimensional check sheets and maintaining job paperwork
n
Basic machine maintenance and consumables management
n




Working with the workshop manager to schedule and prioritise jobs
n
What we're after n
n
Experience operating a tube laser or flatbed laser (tube laser preferred, but we'll train the right person coming from flatbed)
n
Ability to read fabrication drawings confidently
n
Experience with laser nesting/CAM software, or the aptitude to pick it up quickly
n
Positive eye for quality and accuracy — parts go straight to fabrication or out the door to customers
n
Reliable, self-motivated, able to run the cell without someone standing over you
n
Forklift licence an advantage
n
