Our client, one of the largest hotel groups in Victoria is looking for qualified and experienced cooks/chefs to work in their large hotel situated in regional Victoria at Milawa. The company sets innovative menus bringing out the best of the local produce with their in-house dining room.
Job duties: n
n
Preparation, creation, decoration of food items
n
Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
n
Plan, develop and estimate food costs when ordering food supplies
n
Monitor quality of dishes
n
Prepare and cook food demonstrating a variety of cooking techniques
n
Season food during cooking
n
Portion food
n
Keep kitchen and enforce hygiene regulations
n
Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine
n




Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP
n
Monitor and produce quality dishes in all stages of preparation and organisation
n
Skills required n
n
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV
n
or equivalent qualification
n
Relevant experience in similar capacity
n
n

n Salary Range $79,000-$85,000 + super, dependent on experience.
