We are partnering with a respected specialist breast imaging service seeking an experienced Mammographer, Breast Radiographer or Sonographer for upcoming locum and fixed-term contract opportunities.
n
This is an excellent prospect to join a highly regarded, hospital-based breast clinic and provide compassionate, accurate imaging support to women throughout their breast health journey.

About the Service:
n
The clinic delivers a comprehensive breast health service, including diagnostic imaging, mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI, specialist consultations and interventional procedures.
n
You will work alongside experienced Radiologists, Surgeons, Clinical Geneticists, Pathologists, Nurses, Radiographers and Sonographers in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
n
About the Role:
n
Depending on your background and scope of practice, you may support:
n
n
Screening and diagnostic mammography
n
Breast ultrasound and diagnostic work-up imaging
n
Patient preparation and support throughout imaging appointments
n
Quality assurance and high clinical imaging standards
n




Complex diagnostic cases and breast imaging procedures
n
A calm, patient-centred experience in what can be an understandably anxious time for patients
n
n
About You:
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner / Radiographer, or a recognised Sonography qualification
n
Mammography, breast imaging and/or breast ultrasound experience
n
Queensland Radiation Use Licence, or eligibility to obtain one
n
Strong communication skills and a compassionate patient-centred approach
n
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team
n
Commitment to image quality, patient safety and clinical excellence
n
