Clinical Care Manager – Part time Job Share

Working closely with the existing Clinical Care Manager and Service Manager, you will provide clinical oversight of our 6-bed overnight respite facility. This position is a job-share role working in partnership with our existing Clinical Care Manager. You will work closely together to ensure continuity of clinical leadership, communication and care across the service.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Providing clinical leadership and oversight of client care
n
Completing clinical assessments and developing and reviewing care plans
n
Monitoring client health and responding to changing clinical needs
n
Providing clinical guidance, mentoring and support to care staff
n
Supporting staff management, supervision and clinical competency
n
Overseeing medication management and clinical documentation
n
Maintaining strong infection prevention and control practices
n
Identifying and managing clinical risks
n
Supporting incident management and follow-up
n
Liaising with GPs, allied health professionals, families and other health providers
n
n




About you
n
n
Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
n
Experience in aged care, community care, respite or a similar environment
n
Demonstrated clinical leadership and staff management experience
n
Infection Prevention and Control qualifications and/or experience
n
Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
The ability to lead, mentor and support a care team
n
Strong clinical governance and risk management knowledge
n
Excellent organisational and documentation skills
n
A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a leadership team
n
