A global energy and infrastructure business is seeking a hands‑on Financial Modeller to join their Sydney-based team, coming from an energy or banking background. This is a genuinely modelling-heavy role, sitting at the centre of structured and project financing activities Australia-wide - working closely with debt and equity providers, banks and investors to support financing, investment, and M&A; transactions.

Key Responsibilities
Build and own complex, structured financial models from scratch - supporting project development, financing, and investment decision-making
Model and structure debt financing solutions for energy projects
Build and stress-test scenario and sensitivity models to support financing and investment committee decisions
Contribute to M&A; activities, including financial analysis, valuation modelling, and due diligence




Maintain and evolve models supporting broader finance activities - budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
Work directly with banks, investors, and financial stakeholders on model outputs, assumptions, and structuring

About You
Advanced financial modelling - three-statement, project finance/debt structures, LBO, scenario / sensitivity analysis.
Robust background in energy, infrastructure, or utility-scale project financing - from either the developer or banking side
Deep, practical experience with debt financing, bank models and transaction due diligence
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering
Full working rights in Australia required
