RETAIL JOINERY WORKSHOP
have an exciting opportunity for a experienced tradesperson as LEADING HAND to oversee our Manufacturing Team.
n
We offer a "best in industry" work enviroment in a clean and secure ****m2 facility. We provide a strong worklife balance enviroment working 4.5 day weeks with no weekend work.
n
The role is factory based, co-ordinating a team of approximately ***** factory staff manufacturing fixtures and fittings for some of Australia's leading National Retailers.
n
This is a hands-on position combining team coordination whilst working alongside our Factory Foreman and Production Manager.
Responsibilities n
n
Organise the daily factory workload priorities with the Production Manager.
n
Keep jobs progressing efficiently to meet production requirements.
n




Assist with joinery manufacturing and assembly.
n
Maintain quality standards and attention to detail.
n
Support the team to complete work safely and efficiently.
n
Requirements n
n
Trade qualified as a shopfitter or cabinetmaker.
n
Previous leading hand or factory supervisory experience preferred
n
Reliable, organised and able to lead a team of experienced Tradespersons and Apprentices
n
Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
n
Ability to learn basic computer skills
n
Clean and safe work environment
n
Strong work-life balance with 4.5 day weeks
n
Ownership of Personal Leave entitlements
