We're seeking an experienced and safety-focused Service Crew Operator to join our underground mining team at a high-performing operation in Cobar.
n
As a key part of the mining team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of essential underground services – keeping operations running smoothly and safely.
n
Roster
n
This is a residential only position working on a 7/7 (days / nights) rotational roster.
n
Responsibilities
n
RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
Installing and maintaining services such as air, water, dewatering, ventilation, and power cabling
n
Assisting with underground infrastructure moves, including pump setups and ventilation systems
n
Conducting inspections and performing basic troubleshooting of service equipment
n
Supporting jumbo and development crews as needed
n
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety in all working areas
n
n
Qualifications
n
What we're looking for:
n
n
Proven experience in underground mining, preferably in a service crew role
n
Sound knowledge of underground mine services and equipment
n
Physically fit and capable of manual handling in a demanding underground environment
n
A team player with a commitment to safety and site procedures
n




Current driver's licence and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
n
