Kombu QVM is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and bring fresh energy, current ideas and a strong team mentality.

Our menu draws inspiration from traditional Japanese cooking and washoku principles, with a contemporary approach to ingredients, presentation and flavour. Working closely with the seasons and quality local produce, our focus is on considered, approachable food, consistently executed to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have experience across hot and cold sections, be able to run a section independently and be comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace. Experience with Japanese cuisine is highly regarded, but more importantly, we’re looking for someone with the right attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.

With a newly established management team, a growing kitchen brigade and exciting new projects ahead,
