We are seekingmultiple full-time trade qualified Heavy vehicle mobile equipment/Diesel Fitter / Tractor Mechanicsfor an immediate start onservicing and maintenance of a variety of Tractors including New Holland tractors and our expanded machinery range in Mackay and up to Proserpine and surrounds.
Your strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and positive attitude will contribute to our continued success.
The position will include (but not limited to) the following:
Undertake appropriate measures to ensure all service and maintenance records are maintained
Undertake scheduled maintenance and repairs of our Customers Current Holland Tractors and all our other tractors and ancillary equipment
Ensure all work carried out is undertaken to the highest quality standard and carried out safely
Servicing and maintenance as per applicable schedules
Work with departmental and interdepartmental staff in a pleasant and constructive manner
Source and order spare parts and maintain appropriate records as required to ensure smooth work flow of scheduled servicing and maintenance
The candidate must possess the following:
High level of communication skills
Ability to interpret parts catalogues and workshop manuals
Prior experience in a similar role with field experience and customer interaction
Tractor experience highly regarded
Protected work ethic and attitude
A commonsense approach to problem solving
Willingness to improve, add and share knowledge
Ability to work unsupervised and show initiative
Drivers Licence and Forklift ticket essential
