This isn't your average workplace. Behind the production of some of Australia's favourite treats is a sophisticated network of electrical systems, machinery and technology — and over the next three years, you'll learn how to help keep it all running.
n
Working alongside experienced electricians and technicians, you'll gain hands‐on experience maintaining, troubleshooting and improving electrical systems while completing your Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) through BGT.
n
Learn your trade in the real world
n
You'll combine structured, nationally recognised training with practical experience inside a major manufacturing operation.
n
You'll learn how electrical systems work in a busy production environment, how faults are identified and solved, and how preventative maintenance helps keep equipment operating safely and reliably.
n
Most importantly, you'll be learning from experienced people while developing the practical skills and confidence you'll carry throughout your career.
n

We're looking for someone who:

has a genuine interest in electrical work and wants to build a career in the trade
n
enjoys learning and developing new skills
n
communicates well and enjoys being part of a team
n
can also work independently when required
n
can follow instructions, prioritise tasks and show initiative
n
takes pride in doing things properly
n
understands that safety and quality are non‐negotiable.

Experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment would be an advantage, but it's not essential.
n
