Palmers Glass & Carpentry is seeking a skilled and experienced
Shower Screen Installer
to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Gladesville NSW ****, this role is central to delivering high-quality glass solutions to our valued customers. As a Shower Screen Installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation of bespoke shower screens in residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position that requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. You will work on-site at various locations across the Sydney region, ensuring that every installation meets our exacting standards and exceeds customer expectations.
Key responsibilities n
Install shower screens, glass panels, and associated fixtures in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
n
Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to maintain high standards
n
Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide professional advice on options
n
Maintain a protected and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
n
Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently
n
Liaise with other tradespeople and team members to ensure smooth project completion
What we're looking for n
Proven experience as a Shower Screen Installer or similar glass installation role, ideally 3+ years in the building trades
n
Strong technical knowledge of glass types, framing systems, and installation methodologies
n
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to glass
n
A valid driver's licence and reliable access to transportation for site-based work
n
Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces safely
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering work of exceptional quality
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Current First Aid certification is advantageous
