Job Description

Provide support to a 25-year-old male with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair. The role involves providing assistance with daily activities, personal care and community access, while supporting independence, choice and quality of life. A vehicle is supplied for use during shifts.
Key responsibilities n

Assist with personal care and daily living activities
n
Support wheelchair and hoist transfers
n
Support outings, appointments and community participation
n
About you n
n
Reliable, patient, respectful and genuinely enjoys supporting people
n
Comfortable and capable with personal care
n
Experience with wheelchair and hoist transfers, or willing and able to learn
n
Current driver licence with a clean driving record
n
Current Police Check
n
Dependable and able to commit to regular Friday and alternate Saturday shifts
n
Previous disability support experience highly regarded, particularly experience supporting people with physical and behavioural disabilities
