Reliant Business Insurance is a Mornington VIC based insurance brokerage helping small businesses across Australia get the right cover, with a particular focus on the trades industry. The Role

We're looking for an Insurance Broking Assistant to support our brokers with the day-to-day administration that keeps our clients properly covered. It's a hands-on role, well suited to someone who enjoys detail-focused work and wants to build a career in insurance broking.

Key Responsibilities
Process new business, renewals, endorsements and cancellations
Claims management, including claim lodgement, follow-up, and client communications.
Prepare certificates of currency, policy schedules and renewal documentation
Liaise with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotes and finalise policy details
Maintain accurate client records in our broking system




Respond to client enquiries regarding policy coverage and documentation
Support our brokers with general administrative tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience
Experience in insurance, financial services or general administration (well regarded but not essential)
Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification in General Insurance, or willingness to obtain one
Comfortable learning new software and broking platforms

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Transparent, skilled written and verbal communication
