IBS Security is seeking expressions of interest from experienced business development professionals with a strong background in the security industry, particularly security guarding, static security and asset protection.

We are particularly interested in individuals with an established skilled network and existing relationships with commercial decision-makers who procure or influence security guarding services across Victoria.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience identifying and developing new business opportunities, opening doors with prospective clients, building relationships with key decision-makers and developing opportunities into long-term commercial contracts.

About the role

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience identifying and developing new business opportunities, opening doors with prospective clients, building relationships with key decision-makers and developing opportunities into long-term commercial contracts.

Key responsibilities
n

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Victorian security guarding market
n
Generate qualified leads and open doors with prospective clients
n




Leverage and develop relationships with key commercial decision-makers
n
Build relationships across sectors including property, facilities management, construction, retail, automotive, industrial and corporate
n
Develop opportunities with security managers, facilities managers, property managers, procurement professionals, business owners and other senior decision-makers
n
Assist in developing and negotiating profitable security guarding contracts
n
Build and maintain long-term client relationships
n

About you
n
n
Strong existing professional network with commercial decision-makers across Victoria
n
Proven business development, account management or client relationship experience
n
Demonstrated ability to generate genuine commercial opportunities and develop new business
n
Knowledge of the Victorian security guarding market
n
Strong networking, communication and relationship-building skills
n
Ability to work independently and professionally
n
Previous experience within the security industry in business development, account management, client services or a senior commercial role will be highly regarded
n
A demonstrated history of developing or winning security guarding contracts will be highly regarded
n
