to join a well-established steel building products manufacturer based in
Crestmead
.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Welder to utilise their skills in a stable, production-focused manufacturing environment, working as part of an experienced team.
What You'll Be Doing
MIG and spot welding of
1.55mm sheet metal
Joining and welding steel components together during the manufacturing of steel building products
Manufacturing garage door components and other light sheet metal products
Positioning and aligning steel components correctly
Performing welding, fabrication and assembly tasks
Working to production schedules while maintaining high-quality standards
Handling metal components and performing repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Working efficiently as part of a production-focused team
What We're Looking For
Previous MIG welding experience is preferred
Experience working with
sheet metal or light fabrication
Solid attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment
Reliable, hardworking and punctual
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Shift Times
Monday - Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Friday: 5:00am - 11:00am
