In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating the day-to-day operations of our Pick-Up and Delivery (PUD) fleet, ensuring efficient scheduling, strong customer service, and seamless support for our Freight, Warehousing, and Distribution teams.
n

What You will be doing n
Efficiently plan and schedule pick-up and delivery runs through Orcoda to maximise fleet performance while ensuring accuracy and on-time service delivery.
n
Maintain clear and consistent communication with drivers, assist with job allocation, and ensure freight is loaded and delivered safely and efficiently.
Compliance & Safety n
Monitor and ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods requirements, Driver Fatigue Laws, and all relevant safety standards and procedures.

Track and report on key performance indicators including:
n

Missed pick-ups
n
Return times
n
Overall transport performance
n
n
Manage delayed or missed pick-ups, implement corrective actions promptly, and coordinate special delivery requests and priority freight movements.
n
Ensure vehicles meet safety standards and compliance requirements, including fatigue management and load restraint guidelines.
What You'll Bring Strong Attention to Detail n
Excellent planning skills with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work effectively in a quick-paced operational environment.
Effective Time Management n
Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, and multitask in a busy transport operation.
Industry Experience n
Previous experience within the Transport and Logistics industry, particularly in scheduling, dispatch, or fleet coordination, is highly desirable.
n
Experience using computerised dispatch systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Compliance Knowledge n
Knowledge of:

NHVR Fatigue Management or BFM

Load Restraint Guidelines
