St. James Primary Banora Point is seeking an innovative, energetic Teacher with a commitment to the values and ethos of Catholic Education and student-centred learning. St. James' School has 400 students who are educated by dedicated teachers and caring parents in a co-responsible manner. Banora Point is situated in Tweed Heads, NSW.

Co2 - Leader of Inclusion + Teaching Load
n
The person appointed will have a permanent teaching position in the school and will involve a teaching load. Co2 point "Leader of Inclusion" positions are offered a contract within a set 3-year cycle as Coordinator. The current 3 year cycle is ***********.

All Coordinator positions are advertised every 3 years within the school and incumbents are eligible for reappointment.
n
Position Type: Full time permanent teacher + cyclic leadership appointment
n FTE: 1.0 FTE
n Commencement date: 28 January ****
n Term of Appointment: Full time permanent teacher + remainder of the current Coordinator cycle

Teacher Accreditation:
n
Teachers who are appointed to a leadership position, whether current to the position or applying to be re-appointed, should have begun,
or will begin to make a commitment to the requirements of the diocese Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead document, Category C (Category E for positions of Catechesis and School Evangelisation), during this next triennium cycle.
n
To be eligible to apply for a (Co2) position a teacher would normally be a fulltime permanent teacher classified Step 3 Proficient on the Teacher's Standards Classification.
n
Each teacher in a leadership position (Co2) will participate in an ongoing performance review in accordance with the Diocesan Policy & Procedures for Performance Review of Coordinators.
n
Applicants must:

have a current NSW Working with Children Check
n
full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
n
compliance with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
n
n

Demonstrated capacity to develop one's self as a leader

Capacity and skills to lead others to enable success for all students

Ability to lead learning and change for improved student outcomes
n
Ability to manage effectively
n
a willingness to lead and contribute positively as part of a professional learning community
n
Proven ability to teach all primary school KLAs and Grades
n
