Matrix Education is now hiring Science Teachers across
Chemistry
and
Physics
to join us at our Box Hill campus.

From $63/hour + Superannuation
n
Current term starts 5 October ****
n

This role is ideal for anyone who is a subject matter expert who can explain things clearly and is passionate about their area of expertise! Our team is a diverse group of high school teachers, corporate professionals, university teaching staff and post graduate candidates and students.
n
Classes are available after school from 4:30pm on weekdays or from 9:00am on weekends at our convenient locations, which are easily accessible via public transport.
n
You will have the opportunity to work with a fun and talented team in a great work environment. Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are provided for you.
What you'll do... n
n




Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic school term,
n
Ongoing monitoring of student's academic progress through marking of short weekly quizzes,
n
Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.
n
What you'll need... n
n
A genuine passion for teaching,
n
Previous experience teaching VCE Chemistry and/or Physics in a classroom setting
n
Have extensive knowledge of the current VCE curriculum in science
n
Have completed their degree in Education, Science, Engineering or a related discipline
n
