We are a small private mental health clinic based in Shepparton. Our goal is to provide clients with a warm and welcoming space to access mental health support. We work with private clients, NDIS participants and clients through other funding streams. We value creating a positive environment for both clients and staff.
About the role n
You will work within a mental health setting, providing therapeutic and functional supports to children, adolescents and adults. The role will include a combination of 1:1 and group-based work.
Key responsibilities n
n
Support clients mental health journey through delivering supports aimed at improving daily living skills, emotional regulation, executive functioning, independence and functional capacity
n
Work 1:1 with clients and their families
n
About you n
n
Occupational Therapist with mental health experience
n




Experience working with NDIS participants and completing Functional Capacity Assessments is advantageous
n
Ability to work independently within your scope of practice is essential
n
Medicare provider number preferred but not essential
n
Mental Health Endorsement preferred but not essential
n
Flexible schedule to suit your availability and flexible FTE: anywhere between 0.2 and 0.8 depending on applicant, and what suits your lifestyle
