Senior IT Operations Manager | Aged Care | Newly Created Role n
Thompson Health Care is looking for an experienced IT Operations leader to take ownership of IT operations across a multi-site setting.
n
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can keep the day-to-day technology setting running well, while also looking at how IT can better support the wider business.
n
Reporting to the Director of Customer Experience, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of IT operations, working closely with an external MSP and a range of technology vendors.
You will be responsible for: n
n
Leading day-to-day IT operations and service delivery across multiple locations;
n
Managing the relationship with the external MSP and key technology vendors;
n
Overseeing infrastructure, devices, connectivity and core technology services;
n
Identifying gaps and driving improvements across the IT environment;
n
Supporting technology projects and business-led initiatives;
n
Working with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technology solutions;
n
Supporting the organisation's approach to cyber security and technology risk;
n
Exploring opportunities to use AI and emerging technology within the workplace; and
n
Providing clear updates and recommendations to senior leadership.

About You n




You will be an experienced IT Operations professional who enjoys being close to the business and getting things done.
You will bring: n
n
Experience leading IT operations in a multi-site environment;
n
Strong vendor and MSP management experience;
n
Broad knowledge across infrastructure, networks, systems and end-user technology;
n
Experience delivering technology projects and continuous improvement;
n
A good understanding of cyber security and technology risk;
n
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
n
The ability to identify issues, challenge the status quo and put practical solutions in place; and
n
Confidence communicating technology matters to senior stakeholders and the Board.
n

You don't need to be the deepest technical expert in the room.
n
