The role n
Reporting to the Coordinator Town Planning and based
n in Windsor, the purpose of this position is to manage major and complex Development Applications, take a lead role in Land and Environment Court proceedings, assist with
n driving business improvement as well as mentoring and coaching the team to ensure high performance and superior customer experience.
About You n
This role will suit a planning professional with extensive
n experience in the NSW Planning system and a passion to effect change in light of the Ministerial Statement of Expectations and planning reforms. You will work amongst a high preforming team of planning professionals where your proactive attitude and the ability to
n deal with complex matters through proven written and verbal communication
n skills will augment the team further in its journey of culture and performance . Using your attention to detail, your judgement and initiative




n with a solution-based approach to all situations, you will thrive working with the management team on taking on
n interesting challenges relating to a broad range of planning issues that
n confront metropolitan and peri-urban areas, whilst being able to think independently and act pragmatically in prioritising complex tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

Tertiary
n qualifications in Urban
n Planning or equivalent
n
Demonstrated
n extensive experience in dealing with a wide range of complex Development Applications
n and experience in negotiating directly with applicants to achieve high quality
n planning outcomes.
n
Strong analytical and judgment in planning
n concepts with demonstrated experience in working independently
n
Demonstrated
n experience in Land and Setting
n Court of NSW Practices and
n Procedures
n
Highly developed skills in effective
n communication, report writing skills and oral communication.
n
Demonstrated experience in business
n improvement initiatives in the Development Assessment context
n
Experience in mentoring staff, conflict
n resolution and negotiation.
n
The right to live and work in Australia
n
Class C Drivers Licence
n
WHS General Construction Work in NSW
n
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
Successful applicants will be required to
