Automotive Spray Painter

About the Role n
As an Automotive Spray Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes and ensuring repairs are completed to manufacturer and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Prepare and refinish vehicles to a high standard
n
Colour match and blend paints accurately
n
Manage the paint process from preparation through to final finish
n
Maintain paint booth cleanliness and WHS standards
n
Work efficiently within production timelines
n
Collaborate with panel and repair teams to achieve quality outcomes
n
Conduct final quality checks before vehicle handover
n
About You n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing (or equivalent)
n
Minimum 3 years' experience as an Automotive Spray Painter
n
Experience within a collision repair or panel shop environment
n
Knowledge of waterborne and solvent-based paint systems
n
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
n
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
Highly Regarded n
n
I-CAR® accreditation or willingness to undertake training
n
Experience working within a high-volume repair environment
n
OEM repair methodology experience
n
