Acacia Luxury Private Tours is looking for casual and contract Tour Host/Drivers to join our Melbourne team!
n
Established in ****, we provide premium private touring experiences across Melbourne and regional Victoria for guests visiting from all over the world.
n
We're looking for confident, personable people who know
Melbourne/Victoria,
love meeting new people and understand the level of service expected when looking after private luxury clients.
n
Previous guiding experience is advantageous, but not essential. Experience in luxury hotels, hospitality, tourism, aviation or another premium customer-facing workplace is highly regarded.
n
Personality, local knowledge and exceptional people skills are a must.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING n
As a Tour Host/Driver you'll greet guests at their Melbourne accommodation and host them throughout their private touring experience in our luxury Mercedes vehicles.
n
You'll be:
n
n
Driving and hosting private tours across Melbourne and regional Vic
n
Sharing your local knowledge with guests and engaging them in your storytelling
n
Keeping the itinerary running smoothly
n
Liaising with wineries, restaurants and other venues
n
Adapting to different guests, personalities and situations
n
n
Tours range from approximately 4 to 12 hours depending on the itinerary.
WHERE YOU'LL GO n
Our touring includes, but is not limited to:

n
Melbourne CBD, laneways and waterways
n
Grampians
n
Wilsons Promintory
n
Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges
n
n
Your days may include wineries, restaurants, wildlife experiences, national parks, local neighbourhoods.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR n
You need to be good with people.
n




We want someone who can meet new guests and make them feel comfortable, hold a good conversation and naturally adjust to different personalities.
n
Some guests will want to chat all day. Others will want to enjoy the drive and take everything in.
n
A great Tour Host knows the difference!
n
Because we operate in the luxury travel space, attention to detail matters. Impeccable personal presentation, professionalism and discretion are required.
YOU'LL NEED n
n
Excellent communication and people skills
n
Strong knowledge of Melbourne and Victoria
n
Confidence hosting international guests from different cultures and backgrounds
n
Exceptional driving record
n
Reliability, organisation and punctuality
n
Comfort with long regional drives
n
The ability to think on your feet when plans change
n
Flexibility for early starts and late finishes
n
Availability across weekends, public holidays and peak holiday periods is essential
n
A current, full and unrestricted Australian driver's licence
n
Unrestricted Australian working rights
n
Current First Aid certification or willingness to attend
n
n
Fluency in a second language would be highly regarded, particularly Spanish, German, French or Italian.
CASUAL AVAILABILITY n
Our Tour Hosts are generally contacted monthly for their availability, with rosters built around confirmed tours and particularly over peak holiday periods.
WHAT WE OFFER n

$40–$60 per hour
