Databricks Solution Architect
to join a fast-growing
Data & AI consulting organization
in Sydney.

Databricks Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect
Experience n
n
10+ years
of consulting and technology experience
n
7+ years
in Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or Analytics
n
6–8 enterprise Databricks implementations
delivered in production
n
Key Responsibilities n
n
Design and lead enterprise-scale
Data & AI solutions on Databricks Lakehouse
n
Architect scalable data platforms across
AWS, Azure and/or GCP
n
Lead end-to-end Databricks implementations from discovery to production
n
Build and optimize data pipelines using
Apache Spark, Databricks and Delta Lake
n
Drive performance tuning, cost optimization and platform scalability
n
Implement CI/CD, DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
n




Support MLOps and modern AI workflows
n
Lead architecture workshops, technical discovery sessions and executive presentations
n
Work directly with global enterprise customers and senior stakeholders
n
Mentor engineering teams and drive
architecture/governance
best practices
n
Must-Have Skills n
n
Robust hands-on
Databricks
n
Data Engineering & distributed data platforms
n
Data governance, security and platform modernization
n
Strong customer-facing consulting experience
n
Excellent communication and presentation skills
n
Databricks Data Engineer Professional Certification – Mandatory
n
Education n
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
n
Master's degree preferred.
