A busy, well‑established engineering workshop in Lower Hutt is looking for a skilled CNC Operator who can also program . This is a hands‑on role on modern CNC machinery, producing high‑quality components for a fast‑moving production environment.
About the Role
CNC operation – run CNC mills/routers safely and efficiently
CNC programming – create, edit, and optimise programs (Fusion 360 / similar)
Quality checks – measure parts, check tolerances, follow job sheets
Workshop support – assist with production tasks and maintain a clean, protected workspace
What You Bring
Strong experience as a CNC Operator , with the ability to program confidently
Solid understanding of machining, tooling, feeds/speeds, and production workflows
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Reliable, mechanically minded, and safety‑focused
Positive attitude and able to work well in a busy team workplace
