Thurlow Fisher Lawyers is an established and renowned legal practice seeking a motivated Junior Solicitor to join our team at our modern Bankstown office.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an early-career lawyer to gain broad, hands-on experience across a wide range of practice areas while being mentored by some of the most experienced solicitors in the profession.

As a general practice, we handle a genuinely diverse caseload. Rather than being confined to a single specialisation from day one, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills across multiple areas of law and discover where your strengths and interests lie.
Key responsibilities n
n
Assisting senior solicitors with files across a range of practice areas
n
Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda and advices
n
Drafting correspondence, court documents and legal agreements
n
Liaising with clients, courts and other parties
n
Managing file administration and supporting matter progression
n
Attending court, conferences and client meetings as required
n
About you n
n
A completed law degree (LLB or JD) and admission,



or eligibility for admission, as a solicitor
n
A strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn
n
Sound written and verbal communication skills
n
Good attention to detail and organisational ability
n
A skilled, personable and proactive approach
n
Enthusiasm for gaining experience across multiple areas of law
n
Prior experience or clerkships are advantageous but not essential
n
Broad, practical experience across numerous practice areas
n
Close mentorship from highly experienced senior solicitors
n
