We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for

multitask, stay calm under pressure, and possess a solid understanding of kitchen

operations.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Preparing and cooking food to a high standard, following established recipes and culinary techniques.
n
Examining food to ensure quality and freshness at all stages of preparation.
n
Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other specialized cooking equipment.
n
Seasoning, portioning, and plating dishes, including adding sauces and garnishes.
n
Managing food storage in temperature-controlled facilities to ensure safety and longevity.
n




Preparing food for special dietary requirements as requested by patrons.
n
Maintaining hygiene and food safety by enforcing all relevant regulations and cleaning procedures.
n
Collaborating with the team, including discussing preparation issues with managers and
n
Qualifications & Skills n
n
Education/Experience:
At least a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery plus a minimum of two years of relevant commercial kitchen experience or Certificate IV in Kitchen management plus one year of experience
n
Technical Knowledge: Experience in high-volume food preparation and a fast-paced
n
Interpersonal Skills: High level of communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a group.
