About the role: n
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to step into the role of Manager – HSE Assurance, Reporting & Projects.
n
Reporting to the Head of Safety, Wellbeing & Training, you will lead the Reporting, Assurance & Projects team, driving an integrated approach to assurance, performance reporting and project delivery. Your work will provide the business with valuable insights into health and safety performance, supporting informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
n
Leading a diverse team of safety and health professionals, you will oversee auditing, competency verification, performance reporting and the delivery of key HSE projects.
n
As a key member of the Business Unit leadership team, you will drive the development of Board and Executive reporting, ensuring papers, agendas and presentations are delivered to a high standard. Your ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights will support strategic thinking and informed decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities n
n
Lead and develop a high-performing team of safety and health professionals.
n
Drive assurance, auditing and competency verification programs.
n
Deliver insightful HSE performance reporting to support strategic decision-making.
n
Manage key HSE projects that drive continuous improvement.
n
Prepare and coordinate high-quality Board and Executive reporting.
n
Partner across the business to strengthen safety performance, governance and capability.
n
n

Key Skills and Experience n
n




Degree qualification in Occupational Safety or a related discipline, and/or extensive experience delivering HSE technology and software solutions in large organisations.
n
Demonstrated experience in project management and leading complex HSE improvement initiatives.
n
Strong expertise in HSE management systems, assurance processes and governance frameworks.
n
Proven experience developing and implementing corporate systems, processes and procedures.
n
Advanced capability in HSE performance reporting, including the preparation of reports and insights for operational, executive and Board audiences.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
n
