Job Details n
The .NET Development team within the Development Capability Hub delivers, maintains and improves digital products, integrations and services supporting business outcomes across the aged care ICT environment.
n
The .NET Developer will design, develop, test, maintain and support secure, reliable and scalable applications and APIs using Microsoft .NET technologies.
n
Working in a multidisciplinary delivery environment, the role requires robust technical capability, sound judgement, effective communication and collaboration with business analysts, testers, architects, DevOps engineers and other technical specialists.
n
The role operates within a mature delivery environment following the successful delivery of aged care reforms. Its focus is system stability,



sustainment and continuous improvement while continuing to deliver high-quality enhancements aligned with enterprise standards and evolving business requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities n
n
Contribute to the delivery, maintenance and support of enterprise ICT systems, including web applications, APIs, integrations and data-driven services.
n
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain applications and services using C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API and related Microsoft technologies.
n
Translate business requirements, user stories and technical specifications into secure, maintainable and scalable software solutions.
n
Build and maintain RESTful APIs, integration services and backend components that enable reliable system-to-system communication.
n
Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, data access layers and Entity Framework components.
n
Contribute to solution design, technical documentation, code quality standards, peer reviews and continuous improvement.
n
Investigate and resolve defects, performance concerns and application issues across supported services.
n
Develop and maintain automated unit, integration and regression tests.
n
Use Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling to manage work items, source control, build and release pipelines, code reviews and deployments.
n
Ensure development work complies with legislation, cyber security requirements, architectural standards, policies and governance arrangements.
n
Collaborate with project,



architecture, release, operations and production support teams.
n
Support testing, release planning, deployment, warranty and post-release validation activities.
n
Mentor permanent and contractor staff through technical guidance, skills transfer and knowledge sharing.
n
Lead technical delivery and provide practical guidance and assurance to development teams.
