Ripley Valley State Secondary College is seeking a highly motivated and capable Finance Officer (A04) commencing no later than November ****. This position will be working closely with the Business Manager and Principal to coordinate and monitor financial services at the college. The ideal applicant should be highly adaptable, have experience in financial services and be able to work as part of a team. This position is being offered in a Temporary Full-Time capacity, ***** hours per week, until 10 December **** unless otherwise determined.

Your Opportunity n

Provide financial advice and support to the Business Manager, Principal and school leadership team.
n
Manage financial reporting, budgets, procurement, banking,



accounts payable and receivable, debt collection and asset management.
n
Ensure financial practices comply with departmental policies, procedures and legislation.
n
Align financial management with the school's strategic priorities.
n
Analyse funding and budget issues and provide practical advice.
n
Resolve financial administration issues and improve processes and systems.
n
Train staff in financial procedures and systems.
n
