What You Will Be Doing n
n
Operating production drill rigs in an open cut coal mining environment
n
Drilling blast holes in accordance with mine plans and production schedules
n
Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
n
Monitoring drilling performance and reporting equipment issues
n




Maintaining compliance with site safety standards and operational procedures
n
Working closely with drill and blast teams to achieve production targets
n
What You Will Need n
n
Previous experience operating production drill rigs in a mining environment
n
Demonstrated experience on
Bucyrus SKF
and/or
Sandvik DR412
drill rigs
n
Strong understanding of drill and blast operations
n
Current Standard 11
n
Current Coal Board Medical
n
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n
Current Driver's Licence and full Australian working rights
n
