Yard / Warehouse Operator (Plastics Processing) n

About the role
n
You will run our processing line and handle material from truck arrival through to packed bulka bags ready for dispatch.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Load and unload trucks and containers, including inbound material and outbound bulka bags
n
Operate granulating and processing equipment across a range of plastic types
n
Keep different plastic types strictly separated at every stage, from intake and storage through to processing and bagging
n
Re-bag processed material to customer weight specifications
n
Remove visible contaminants and flag quality issues before material is packed
n
Label, weigh and stage bags for dispatch
n
Record hours and output on the weekly timesheet
n
Keep the site clean, safe and organised
n
About you
n
Strong attention to detail, particularly in identifying and separating plastic types
n
Experience with granulators, shredders or production machinery (preferred)
n
Forklift licence (LF) highly regarded
n
Physically fit and comfortable in an industrial workplace
n
Reliable, self-directed and keen to take on more as the business grows
