2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice
to join our growing Melbourne installation team.
n
This is a hands-on role working alongside a
licensed tradesman with 40+ years of industry experience
who genuinely wants to teach the next generation.
n
You'll be involved in complete installations — not just carrying tools or doing the same basic tasks every day.
n

What you'll get n

$55,000–$70,000 + super
, depending on apprenticeship year and experience

Learn complete installations from start to finish

What you'll be working on n
You'll gain practical experience across residential air-conditioning installations, including:
n
n
n
Ducted reverse-cycle systems
n
n
Split and multi-head/VRF systems
n
n
Indoor and outdoor unit installation
n
n
Ductwork, outlets and return-air systems
n
n
Copper pipework and brazing
n
n
Pressure testing and vacuuming
n
n
Refrigeration pipework
n
n
Condensate and drainage
n
n
Replacement of existing gas ducted heating systems
n
n
Commissioning and testing
n
n




General installation and site work
n
n

Who we're looking for n
We're looking for someone who is:
n
n
n
Currently a
2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice
n
n
Reliable and turns up on time
n
n
Keen to learn and improve
n
n
Comfortable working in roof spaces and under floors
n
n
Willing to listen, ask questions and take direction
n
n
Proud of doing clean, professional work
n
n
Respectful when working inside customers' homes
n
n
Able to work well as part of a team
n
n
Holding an Australian driver's licence (preferred)
n
n
Holding a White Card, or willing to obtain one
n
n
A strong 1st-year apprentice with genuine hands-on HVAC experience may also be considered.
