Support surface and underground sites across North QLD, working on OEM machinery, from older gear through to high-spec equipment.

The Work
n
Field service and site-based, keeping specialised mining equipment running.
n
n
Breakdowns, scheduled and preventative maintenance,



hydraulic faults, on-site rebuilds and component replacements
n
Occasional workshop work, overhauls and structural repairs
n
Equipment includes underground drills, loaders, haul trucks and auxiliary plant
n
n
Roster & Travel
n
n
2:2 or 8:6 FIFO, 12-hour shifts, ex-Brisbane
n
Dayshift only (occasional nights, not often)
n
Accommodation on-site or nearby, camp or town
n
Well-established hub with existing and recent projects coming online
n
n
What You Need
n
n
Trade qualified Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
n
Underground or surface mining experience required and drill experience a plus
n
Strong fault-finding and hands-on maintenance skills
n
Safety-first mindset, takes pride in the work
n
Up for FIFO and keen on long-term progression
n
Able to pass a pre-employment medical and police check
n
