For the past 60 years, Barlens has operated as a market leader in event hire. Originating in Canberra, we have an experienced team who deliver marquee and event services for a number of clients throughout the event industry.
About the Role n
We are currently seeking
experienced Labourers
to join our team and work across a variety of events throughout the Canberra region.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic team at the heart of the
event and exhibition industry
, with the potential for interstate work and the chance to develop valuable skills within a quick-paced environment.

As an integral part of our operations, your responsibilities will include:
n
Delivering, setting up and collecting hire stock from our warehouse to event sites
n
Installing, setting up and dismantling hire equipment at exhibitions and events
n
Loading and unloading trucks
n




Erecting and dismantling marquees
n
Installing and removing floor coverings
n
Assisting with general warehouse and event-site duties as required
About You n
Along with a strong work ethic and positive attitude, we are looking for someone who:
n
Must hold a current White Card
n
Forklift Licence preferred, but not essential
n
Is physically fit, strong and comfortable with manual handling
n
Is punctual, reliable and dependable
n
Works well both independently and as part of a team
n
Has a can-do attitude and takes pride in their work
n
Is flexible and available to work nights, weekends and public holidays
n
Has a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced event setting
n
