About The Role

Are you a seasoned Developer who enjoys both the strategy of leadership and staying close to the code? At
Lite n' Easy
, we are looking for a
Software Development Lead
to join our Brisbane-based ICT team. This is a high-impact,
"brownfield"
environment where you will manage a team of 5 in-house developers dedicated to
continuous improvement
. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technical leader who enjoys mentoring developers, driving best practices and delivering innovative solutions that support both operational excellence and strategic business growth.

Lead & Mentor
: Head a team of 5 skilled developers, fostering a collaborative environment and identifying opportunities for their professional growth.
n
Enforce Standards
: Establish and lead best practices in Web and Application development, ensuring the team maintains excellent coding standards across the full development cycle.
n
Technical Delivery
: Manage timelines from concept through to application launch,



working closely with the Applications Manager and ICT Project Manager to prioritize strategic initiatives.
n
Hybrid Approach
: Navigate a diverse workload involving
Agile/ Waterfall and Squads
for projects
Business-As-Usual (BAU)
tasks.
n
Technical Quality
: Ensure the reliability, performance and security of applications while driving innovation to meet evolving business needs.
n
n
About You
n
n
10+ years experience in web and application development.
n
5+ years experience leading and mentoring software development teams.
n
Strong experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including: n
n
C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core
n
ASP.NET web applications
n
Windows Forms applications
n
RESTful APIs
n
n
React experience
n
Strong stakeholder collaboration skills
n
Solid SQL Server and database development experience.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
n
Nice To Have
n
n
Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Microsoft App Center.
n
n
Hands-on experience developing and managing modern web applications using
Next.js
,
Storyblok
, and
Vercel
n
Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other business applications.
n
