Casual position, 37.5 hours per week Rostered shifts are between 7:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Canning Vale
$38.46 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) plus super
Project duration: Currently approved through to 23 rd October, with the possibility of an extension if additional fruit flies are detected

Role Description:
Undertake field-based activities as part of a biosecurity response program
Apply treatments and maintain monitoring equipment across designated areas
Conduct surveillance, inspections, and sample collection
Engage with residents to provide information on control measures and requirements
Accurately record data and follow established operational procedures
Support broader emergency response activities as required

Essential Criteria
Valid WA Driver’s Licence




Full working rights in Australia
National Police Check (dated within the last 6 months or willing to obtain)
Ability to work outdoors in a field-based role
Valuable communication skills and ability to interact with the public
Previous field, biosecurity, or environmental experience (desirable)
