Casual Driver – VMS & Traffic Control Equipment (MR Licence)APS HIRE is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Casual Driver to join our team, delivering and collecting Variable Message Signs (VMS) and traffic control equipment throughout Geelong and across Victoria.About the role:This is a hands‐on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, travelling, and dealing with a variety of job sites.
You will be responsible for:Delivering and picking up VMS boards, portable traffic lights and related traffic equipmentOperating an MR truck safely and efficientlyCompleting basic equipment setup on siteCommunicating with the operations team to ensure smooth deliveriesProviding excellent customer service when dealing with clients on locationWhat you need:Current MR truck licence (mandatory)Minimum of 1+ years MR truck driving experience requiredGood communication and problem‐solving skillsAbility to work independently and maintain a high standard of safetyA positive attitude and willingness to learnBasic mechanical or equipment knowledge is an advantage (not essential)Flexibility to work varying hours, including occasional early starts or late finishesAustralian work rights are essential for this positionWhat we offer:Casual, ongoing work with competitive hourly ratesTraining provided on VMS boards and traffic equipmentSupportive and friendly team environmentWork that takes you across Geelong and regional VictoriaIf you're dependable, safety‐conscious and ready to join a growing team, we'd love to hear from you.
